PRATTVILLE, AL (BuzzReport) – Reuben Gardner, a successful businessman and military veteran, has officially announced his candidacy for the position of Prattville Mayor in the upcoming election on August 26.

With a career spanning 44 years as a General Contractor, Gardner brings a wealth of experience to the table. Additionally, his six years of service in the U.S. Army and 36 years on the Prattville Planning Commission, including the last 19 years as Chairman, demonstrate his commitment to public service and his deep understanding of the city’s growth and development.

When asked why he decided to run for mayor, Gardner stated, “I am a Prattville native, born and raised, and Prattville has been very good to my family and business. I have always served my hometown, and this is a way for me to serve at another level. Many people have asked me to run for the seat, so I feel that the public wants me to run for the seat.”

Gardner’s extensive experience on the Prattville Planning Commission has given him a unique perspective on the city’s growth and development. He has witnessed firsthand how development, retail, and residential projects affect the city, and he is committed to using his lifetime of experiences to make Prattville the hometown he loves progress for everyone as they move forward.
