Store Clerk Critically Wounded in Dollar General Robbery

Birmingham, AL (BuzzReport) – A robbery at a Dollar General store in Birmingham’s Five Points West neighborhood left a store clerk critically injured Thursday evening. The incident occurred at approximately 8:00 p.m. at the store located at 2314 Warrior Road.

According to police reports, a male employee was shot in the chest during the robbery. Emergency medical services transported the victim to a local hospital, where he is currently being treated for life-threatening injuries.
