Woman Arrested After High-Speed Chase in Mobile

A dramatic scene unfolded in Mobile on Wednesday morning when a local woman led police officers on a high-speed chase through the city streets. According to the Mobile Police Department, officers attempted to pull over a vehicle in the vicinity of Government Street and McVay Drive around 10 a.m.

The driver, however, refused to comply, prompting a pursuit that ultimately concluded on Murray Hill Court. Authorities apprehended 24-year-old Nyeshia Jamia Brewster, who now faces charges of felony attempt to elude.
