New Orleans, LA (BuzzReport) – The New Orleans Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect wanted for attempted second-degree rape and simple robbery. The incident occurred on June 8, 2025, around 6:19 a.m. in the 200 block of South Broad Avenue. Suspect Photo – New Orleans Police Department The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, approximately 5’6″ with a medium build and black hair tied in a ponytail. He was wearing a black shirt with a Nike logo, grey pants, and black shoes. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the crimes or the suspect’s identity to contact the Special Victims detectives at 504-658-5523 or Crimestoppers anonymously at 504-822-1111.
