Camden Shooting Leaves One Dead; Investigation Ongoing

Camden, AR. (BuzzReport) – A tragic incident unfolded in Camden on April 26, 2025, when a shooting left one person dead and another injured. According to the Camden Police Department (CPD), officers responded to a report of two individuals being shot at 814 Lincoln Drive around 6:10 PM.

Upon arrival, officers found the two victims with gunshot wounds and provided immediate aid. Evidence collected at the scene included five 40-caliber shell casings, two projectiles on the front porch, and a bag of marijuana in the front yard. The residence sustained several bullet holes.

One victim, identified as Dretti Gz, succumbed to his injuries at the Ouachita County Medical Center. The second victim was transported to an out-of-town facility and is currently in stable condition.

Suspects Apprehended and Charged

Chris Arnold and Keegan Turner were identified as suspects, and arrest warrants were issued. Collaborative efforts between the CPD, Fayetteville Police Department, and Springdale Police Department led to their apprehension without incident. Both suspects are currently awaiting further proceedings.

During the first judicial appearance, Arnold’s case was bound to the Circuit Court for further proceedings, with a bond set at $1,000,000 cash or corporate surety. His charges include:

• Aggravated Robbery

Turner chose not to proceed with the probable cause hearing and is being held without bond. His charges include:

• Capital Murder
• Battery First Degree
• Terroristic Act
• Aggravated Robbery
• Aggravated Assault
