George County, MS. (BuzzReport) – Authorities are investigating a shooting in the 200 block of CF Ward Road has resulted in one fatality, according to the George County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies responded to reports of the incident around 7:00 p.m. and confirmed one person deceased at the scene. One individual is currently in custody, identified as a person of interest in the investigation. The George County Coroner’s office is working to notify the family of the deceased, whose identity has not been released.
