22-Year-Old Man Found Shot Dead At Prichard Cemetery

Prichard, AL (BuzzReport)—A homicide investigation is underway in Prichard after a 22-year-old man was found shot to death Thursday at a local cemetery.

The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office said deputies responded to Gethsemane Cemetery, located at 2850 S. Shelton Beach Road, after receiving reports that a man had been found dead on the property.

When deputies arrived, they discovered the body of Vanol Lucky, who was found lying between two gravesites.

Investigators identified Lucky as the victim and said he was shot to death. Authorities said he was also known by the names “Babsco” and “VL.”

The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation. At this time, authorities have not released additional details regarding what led to the shooting, whether a suspect has been identified, or whether investigators believe the victim knew the person responsible.

The shooting has left investigators searching for information that could help determine what happened and who was responsible for Lucky’s death.
