Man Arrested on Gun Charge After Being Interviewed in Investigation Into Woman Found Hanging From Tree

JACKSON, Miss. (BuzzReport)— A man who was interviewed by detectives in connection with the death of a Jackson woman found hanging from a tree has been arrested on an unrelated firearms charge, authorities said.

Terence Anderson appeared in court Tuesday, where he was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm. A judge set his bond at $250,000.

Anderson remains in custody at the Hinds County Detention Center.

The arrest comes as investigators continue working to determine what happened to Tasia Fortune, whose body was discovered hanging from a tree Monday.
