MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Mobile Police have announced a second arrest in connection with the deadly homicide that occurred on Gaylark Road on June 15, marking another significant development in an investigation that has remained active for more than a month. According to the Mobile Police Department, James Langie IV, 21, was taken into custody on Thursday, July 16, and has been charged with one count of murder and one count of first-degree robbery. Jail records confirm the charges. Investigators believe Langie played a role in the events surrounding the fatal incident, although authorities have not yet released additional details regarding his alleged involvement or identified the victim publicly in connection with this latest arrest. Langie is the second person charged in the case. Police previously arrested Elishia Langie on June 23, also in connection with the Gaylark Road homicide. Authorities have not disclosed the relationship between the two suspects or whether additional arrests are anticipated.
