One Injured in Sunday Shooting on Edwards Street in Prichard

PRICHARD, AL (BuzzReport) — Authorities are investigating a shooting that left one person injured Sunday afternoon on Edwards Street near Telegraph Road in Prichard.

According to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to reports of a shooting in the area and discovered one victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital with injuries that authorities described as non-life-threatening.

As investigators worked to process the scene and gather evidence, deputies shut down both directions of Edwards Street, restricting traffic while the investigation remained active.
