Domestic Dispute Turns Violent: Woman Arrested After Man Stabbed During Argument in Mobile

MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — What began as a domestic dispute Thursday morning quickly escalated into violence, leaving one man injured and a woman facing criminal charges after police say an argument ended with a stabbing.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded to the 5400 block of Carol Plantation Road at approximately 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, 2026, following reports of a domestic incident.

When officers arrived, they discovered an adult male suffering from a stab wound. Emergency medical personnel treated the victim at the scene, but police said he declined to be transported to a local hospital for additional treatment.

As detectives investigated the incident, they determined that the victim and a woman known to him had become involved in an argument that turned physical.

Investigators say the female suspect allegedly stabbed the man during the altercation.

Police arrested Bethany Bearb, 24, at the scene without further incident. She was transported to the Mobile Metro Jail, where she was booked on charges related to the stabbing.

Authorities have not released additional details about what sparked the dispute or the severity of the victim’s injuries.
