MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport)— A Mobile man was arrested Tuesday morning after police say he physically assaulted a woman inside a residence on Laurel Drive, leaving the victim with minor injuries.

According to authorities, officers responded to the 200 block of Laurel Drive at approximately 11:05 a.m. on June 23, 2026, following reports of a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located an adult female suffering from minor injuries. Investigators determined that the injuries were allegedly sustained during a physical altercation inside the home involving a man known to the victim.

Police said their investigation revealed that the suspect allegedly assaulted the woman before she was able to contact authorities and seek assistance. The victim was able to report the incident, prompting the police response.

Following the investigation, officers arrested 24-year-old Dan Robbins in connection with the incident. Robbins was taken into custody without further incident and transported to Mobile County Metro Jail.

Officials have not released additional details regarding the circumstances leading up to the alleged assault, and no further information about potential charges was immediately available.

The investigation remains ongoing.
