Woman Arrested After Alleged Vehicle Burglary At St. Stephen’s Road Piggly Wiggly

MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — A 38-year-old woman was arrested Thursday evening following an alleged vehicle burglary in the parking lot of a grocery store on St. Stephens Road, according to authorities.

The incident occurred on June 11, 2026, at approximately 5:45 p.m., when officers responded to the Piggly Wiggly located at 2312 St. Stephens Road after receiving a report of a vehicle burglary in progress.

Upon arriving at the scene, officers made contact with the victim, who reported witnessing an adult female enter a vehicle that did not belong to her. The victim immediately alerted authorities after observing the suspicious activity.

Responding officers quickly canvassed the area and located a woman matching the description provided by the victim. The suspect was detained nearby while investigators worked to gather information and determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

A detective was called to the scene to assist with the investigation. Following the preliminary investigation, authorities identified the suspect as Troyesha Williams, 38.

Williams was taken into custody and transported to the Mobile Metro Jail. Information regarding specific charges has not yet been released by law enforcement.
