According to officials, the crash occurred at approximately 10:20 a.m. on eastbound I-10 near the 18-mile marker, just west of the Interstate 65 interchange. Emergency crews with Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to the scene and worked to secure the area as traffic quickly backed up in both directions.

The overturned truck came to rest across the interstate median, leaving its cargo bed sprawled across several eastbound lanes. The wreckage also appeared to obstruct at least one westbound lane, further complicating traffic flow and creating hazardous driving conditions for motorists traveling through the area.

Authorities reported that the truck’s cargo bed blocked several lanes on the eastbound side of the interstate, significantly reducing traffic capacity and bringing movement through the corridor to a crawl.
