Man Shot With Stolen Firearm IN Mobile Neighborhood

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A quiet Sunday morning was shattered by gunfire as Mobile police responded to a domestic-related shooting that left one man injured.

According to authorities, officers were dispatched around 10:30 a.m. on May 3, 2026, to the 1200 block of Devander Drive following reports of a shooting. By the time officers arrived on scene, they learned the male victim had already been transported to a local hospital.

Police say the victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries, but the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain deeply concerning.

Investigators determined the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between the victim and a known male suspect. During an argument that unfolded in the front yard of the residence, the suspect allegedly produced a firearm and shot the victim.

Authorities further revealed that the weapon used in the shooting was reported stolen, adding another layer of seriousness to the case and raising questions about how the firearm came into the suspect’s possession.
