Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Mobile police are investigating an early morning incident after officers discovered an injured man lying in the roadway at a major intersection. According to authorities, officers responded around 2:08 a.m. on Sunday, May 3, 2026, to the area of St. Stephens Road and Springhill Avenue following a report of a male individual down in the roadway. When officers arrived, they located an adult male suffering from a laceration to his body. Officials say the injury was non-life-threatening. The victim was treated at the scene before being transported to a local hospital for further medical care. Details surrounding how the man was injured remain unclear, and investigators have not yet said whether foul play is suspected.
