Mobile County, AL (BuzzReport) — Authorities with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office have announced a major breakthrough in the deadly quadruple homicide investigation in Wilmer, confirming the arrest of a 54-year-old suspect now facing an array of capital murder charges. Officials identified the suspect as William Graham Oliver. According to investigators, Oliver has been charged with one count of capital murder involving the deaths of two or more persons, along with four counts of capital murder committed during the course of a burglary. In addition, authorities say Oliver faces two counts of capital murder involving victims under the age of 14, as well as one count of capital murder committed in the presence of a child — further intensifying the severity of the case. Law enforcement confirmed that Oliver was taken into custody and later transported from the Mobile County Administration Building to Metro Jail at approximately 4:00p.m. Tuesday. The arrest marks a critical development in what officials describe as a deeply disturbing and complex investigation. Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the circumstances of the killings or a possible motive. The investigation remains ongoing, and officials indicate that more information will be released as it becomes available.
