The Mobile Fire-Rescue Department has announced a major leadership appointment, naming Chief Brandon Jackson as its new Chief of Staff — a move that brings more than a quarter-century of experience into one of the department’s most critical roles.

A lifelong Mobilian and graduate of Ben C. Rain High School, Jackson steps into the position with over 26 years of service spanning fire suppression, emergency medical services, communications, inspections and enforcement, emergency management, and technical rescue operations.

Jackson’s career has been defined by a relentless commitment to public safety and professional excellence. Rising through the ranks, he has responded to some of the most complex and high-risk incidents across the country, consistently placing the safety of both citizens and fellow first responders at the forefront.
