GRAND BAY, Ala. (BuzzReport) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday afternoon at a gas station in Grand Bay, leaving one man dead. According to authorities, deputies responded to a shots-fired call around 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Ramsey Road and Highway 90. When they arrived, they found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds. Gas Station, Grand Bay Investigators identified the victim as 27-year-old Dylan Meheen. Officials say Meheen had arrived at the gas station along with two individuals, and all three vehicles were parked at separate gas pumps when an argument broke out. During the confrontation, Meheen reportedly approached one of the suspects’ vehicles. At that point, one of the suspects allegedly opened fire, striking Meheen. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Both suspects were detained by deputies shortly after the shooting. Authorities confirmed that all parties involved were known to one another, though the circumstances leading up to the dispute remain under investigation. The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office has not released additional details at this time. The investigation remains ongoing, and more information is expected as it becomes available.
