Man Charged with Capital Murder in Early Morning Montgomery Shooting

Montgomery, AL  (BuzzReport) — Authorities have charged a 30-year-old man with capital murder following a deadly shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Friday, April 10, 2026.

According to the Montgomery Police Department, officers responded to a call around 12:30 a.m. in the 1000 block of West South Boulevard. Upon arrival, they discovered a victim who had sustained fatal injuries. Details regarding the victim’s identity have not yet been publicly released, pending notification of next of kin.
