Mobile man arrested in connection to Forest Glenn Court homicide; investigation ongoing

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — Authorities have made an arrest in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred earlier this week in a west Mobile neighborhood, though officials say the investigation remains active and additional arrests are possible.

According to the Mobile Police Department, 23-year-old Demontae Bradberry was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 25, 2026, and transported to Metro Jail in connection with the homicide on Forest Glenn Court. Police emphasized that the case is still under investigation and that no further details are being released at this time.

The arrest stems from a shooting that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, March 22, 2026. At approximately 4:30 a.m., officers were dispatched to the 7000 block of Forest Glenn Court following reports of disorderly conduct.

When officers arrived, they discovered a chaotic scene. Investigators say at least three homes and two unoccupied vehicles in the area had been struck by gunfire, indicating a significant exchange of shots in the residential neighborhood.

While officers were still on scene, they learned that two adult male victims suffering from gunshot wounds had already been transported to local hospitals by private vehicle.

One of the victims, later identified as Willie Allen, 24, succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased at the hospital. The second victim sustained injuries that were not considered life-threatening and is expected to recover.

Police have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the shooting, a possible motive, or the relationship between those involved.

Investigators are continuing to gather evidence and have indicated that more arrests may be forthcoming as the case develops.
