Baldwin County, AL (BuzzReport) — A single-vehicle crash involving a pickup truck towing a large camper Saturday morning has led to a lane closure along Interstate 10 in Baldwin County. According to officials, the crash occurred at approximately 11:09 a.m. on March 7 near the 59-mile marker on eastbound I-10. Authorities say the pickup truck was pulling a large camper when the crash happened, leaving the trailer obstructing part of the roadway. As a result of the crash, the right eastbound lane of Interstate 10 remains closed while recovery crews work to remove the camper from the roadway. Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division responded to the scene and are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. Officials say the lane closure will remain in place until crews are able to safely clear the trailer and reopen the roadway. Motorists traveling through the area are urged to use caution and expect possible delays. No additional details, including whether any injuries were reported, have been released at this time. Authorities say updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
