Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Authorities are investigating a homicide after an adult male was found deceased with a gunshot wound near the intersection of Valdez Drive and Skipper Drive in Mobile.
Police confirmed that the victim suffered at least one gunshot injury. The victim’s name has not been released, pending notification of next of kin.
Investigators said a male suspect has been detained for questioning as part of the ongoing investigation. No charges have been announced at this time.
Homicide detectives remain on the scene and are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting. Officials indicated that additional information will be released as it becomes available.
