Chickasaw, AL (BuzzReport) — A man convicted in connection with a deadly 2022 robbery at a Chickasaw park has been sentenced to two life terms in prison. In January, a jury found Tre’vion Collins-Smiley guilty of murder and first-degree robbery stemming from the Oct. 21, 2022 shooting death of Triston Bohannon. Prosecutors said the shooting occurred during a robbery at Paul Devine Park, located off Grant Street. Bohannon was pronounced dead as a result of his injuries. Collins-Smiley was the second suspect taken into custody during the investigation. Authorities previously arrested Joseph Timmons in connection with the same incident.
