Eclectic, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Emergency crews from multiple agencies responded Wednesday afternoon to a commercial vehicle crash in the 200 block of Hagan Road that left one driver injured.

At approximately 12:34 p.m. on February 19, 2026, EMS 835 and Rescue 831 were dispatched on a mutual aid request to assist Haynes Ambulance of Alabama and the Red Hill Fire Department at the scene of a motor vehicle accident involving a commercial truck.

Upon arrival, EMS personnel found a volumetric concrete truck that had left the roadway, overturned onto its side, and spilled its load into a roadside ditch. Authorities said the driver sustained injuries but was able to self-extricate from the vehicle before first responders arrived.

EMS crews provided on-scene medical treatment before transporting the driver to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and care. The extent of the driver’s injuries has not been released.

Rescue 831 personnel remained at the crash site to assist Red Hill Fire Department crews with scene management and recovery operations. After being cleared by Red Hill command, Rescue 831 responded alongside a Haynes Ambulance unit to a separate lift-assist call in the 1300 block of Double Bridge Ferry Road.

Officials emphasized the coordinated response among agencies, highlighting the importance of mutual aid partnerships in emergency situations.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
