Stolen Vehicle Pursuit Ends With Arrest in Escambia County, FL

Escambia County, Florida (BuzzReport) — A brief vehicle pursuit in Escambia County came to a swift end this morning after deputies with the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office located and stopped a stolen vehicle traveling west on Massachusetts Avenue.

According to authorities, deputies identified the stolen vehicle and initiated a short pursuit before successfully performing a PIT maneuver, bringing the vehicle to a halt. The driver was taken into custody without further incident.

Investigators identified the suspect as Keontre Forbes, who now faces multiple felony charges, including possession of a stolen vehicle and fleeing and eluding law enforcement.

No injuries were reported during the pursuit or arrest.
