Man Arrested After Disturbing Domestic Assault at Mobile Apartment Complex

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A disturbing domestic violence incident early Thursday morning led to the arrest of a 22-year-old man after police say he brutally assaulted a woman and committed a degrading act during the attack.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers responded at approximately 5:00 a.m. on February 12, 2026, to the Cimarron Ridge Apartments, located at 6427 Grelot Road, in reference to a domestic disturbance.

When officers arrived, they discovered a male suspect had physically assaulted a known female victim. Police further stated the suspect urinated on the victim during the incident, escalating the severity and disturbing nature of the attack.

The suspect, identified as Rafael Mixon, remained on scene and was taken into custody without incident. Mixon was arrested and transported to the Metro Jail, where he was booked pending further legal proceedings.

Authorities have not released additional details about the victim’s condition. The case remains under investigation.

Law enforcement officials continue to stress that domestic violence in any form will be met with swift and serious consequences, urging victims to seek help and report abuse to authorities.
