Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A Mobile man accused of firing multiple shots at a vehicle, striking a dog in the process, will have his case presented to a grand jury. Brandon Bowdoin waived his right to a preliminary hearing, moving the case forward in Mobile County Circuit Court. According to prosecutors, the incident occurred on Aug. 29 of last year on Binghampton Drive, just off Nevius Road. Authorities allege Bowdoin opened fire on a vehicle as a man attempted to drive away from the scene. During the shooting, the man’s dog was struck by gunfire, according to the Mobile Police Department. Bowdoin is charged with cruelty to animals and discharging a firearm into an occupied vehicle. The case will now be reviewed by a grand jury to determine whether it will proceed to trial.
