Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — The Mobile Police Department is investigating two fatal traffic accidents that occurred in separate incidents over the weekend, leaving three people dead.

The first crash occurred on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at approximately 10:09 a.m. Officers responded to the 6100 block of Bear Fork Road, where they found a vehicle that had caught fire after striking two trees. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators determined the vehicle had been traveling west toward Moffett Road when it crossed into the eastbound lane and left the roadway. The driver was identified as Neil Robinson, 52. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.

The second fatal accident occurred on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at approximately 5:40 p.m., in the area of Callahan Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Officers found that a vehicle traveling on Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive left the roadway and struck a power pole.

Police said the impact ejected two rear-seat passengers from the vehicle. Both victims were pronounced deceased at the scene. Their identities have not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.

Both crashes remain under investigation by the Mobile Police Department.
