Mobile, Ala. (BuzzReport) — The Mobile County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics and Vice Unit executed a search warrant Tuesday, Jan. 27, at a residence in the 900 block of Carleton Avenue, authorities said.

During the search, investigators allegedly recovered approximately 317 grams of cocaine, marijuana, and five handguns. Officials confirmed that one of the firearms had been reported stolen by the Bay Minette Police Department.

While the search warrant was being carried out, deputies arrested Tommy Yarnell Jones, 48, of Mobile. Jones was charged with trafficking cocaine, first-degree possession of marijuana, receiving stolen property, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Mobile County Sheriff Paul Burch said the investigation that led to the search warrant was initiated following a tip from the community.

The case remains under investigation.
