Standoff Ends in Biloxi; Suspect Taken Into Custody

Biloxi, Miss. (BuzzReport) — A standoff involving an armed man and a pregnant woman in Biloxi has ended, according to law enforcement officials. The suspect is now in custody.

The incident lasted more than 18 hours at a duplex apartment in the Rodenburg area. Multiple law enforcement agencies responded, including the Biloxi Police Department and the Gulfport Police Department, which worked together to resolve the situation.

Authorities confirmed that trained negotiators were in communication with the suspect throughout the standoff. The pregnant woman, believed to be between six and eight months pregnant, was reported to be safe during the incident.
