Yet, as of today, only a small handful of candidates have officially filed for local offices. Major Offices Up for Grabs

The list of open positions is extensive and consequential, touching public safety, education, and the administration of justice:

• 13th Judicial Circuit District Court Judge, Place 3
• Mobile County Sheriff
• Mobile County Revenue Commissioner
• Constable positions (one per precinct)
• Mobile County School Board Commissioners

In addition, several Alabama State House seats—particularly Districts 100 through 105—are available, presenting Democrats with an opportunity to strengthen representation for Mobile County in Montgomery.
