MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport) — Mobile police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured Friday morning at a local apartment complex. Officers were called to the Court Yard Apartments, located at 3210 Pleasant Valley Road, after reports of gunfire. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. According to the Mobile Police Department, the victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening. Authorities also confirmed that the victim and the suspected shooter were known to one another, suggesting the incident was not random. “At this time, we can confirm the victim and subject were known to one another,” an MPD spokesperson said in a news release. Police continue to collect evidence and interview witnesses as the investigation remains ongoing. No additional details have been released.
