MONTGOMERY, Ala. (BuzzReport)— State Senator Kirk Hatcher today announced his campaign for Alabama Senate District 25, pledging to continue his record of service to Montgomery and the River Region with a clear focus on opportunity, accountability, and results for working families. “I am honored to announce my campaign for the Alabama Senate in District 25—a district shaped by the voices, resilience, and aspirations of its people,” Hatcher said. “Throughout my time in public service, we have expanded educational access, strengthened local economies, and worked to ensure that every resident has a fair shot at success. I look forward to continuing that work, listening to neighbors across our new district, and fighting every day for our shared future.” A Montgomery native, Hatcher has served in the Alabama Legislature since 2018. He was first elected to represent House District 78 before winning a 2021 special election to the Alabama Senate, where he currently represents Senate District 26. His legislative priorities have centered on education, economic development, and community-driven solutions that support families, small businesses, and workforce growth. “As we look ahead to the 2026 election cycle, I am energized by the opportunity to deepen my service to District 25,” Hatcher said. “This campaign is about listening first—listening to the people of the district—and then working together to deliver real results that reflect our shared values and our collective potential.” Hatcher’s campaign emphasized a commitment to collaborative leadership, transparent governance, and practical policies designed to move the River Region forward.
