Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) — A midday shopping trip turned frightening Friday when police say a woman was robbed at gunpoint in a busy Mobile parking lot—an incident that quickly unraveled a pair of crimes spanning multiple locations and days.

At approximately 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, Mobile Police officers were dispatched to Lowe’s at 7760 Airport Boulevard after reports of a robbery. Investigators say two male suspects confronted a female victim in the parking lot, brandished a firearm, and stole her belongings before fleeing the scene.

Thanks to rapid response and coordinated patrol efforts, officers located the suspects a short time later and detained them during a traffic stop. Nineteen-year-old Jose Palma and a juvenile male were taken into custody without incident.

As detectives continued their investigation, they uncovered evidence linking the pair to an earlier armed robbery just two days prior. According to police, the same suspects are believed to have robbed a male victim in the parking lot of a Dollar General at 2461 Dauphin Island Parkway on Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Authorities have not released additional details about the stolen property or the juvenile suspect due to age-related privacy laws. The investigation remains ongoing as police work to determine whether the suspects may be connected to other incidents in the area.
