Tragedy Strikes Mobile Family in Deadly Stabbing Incident Early Tuesday Morning

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport)- A disturbing scene unfolded in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Mobile, Alabama, as a violent altercation ended in the loss of life. At approximately 2:12 a.m., law enforcement officers rushed to the 5400 block of Forest Park Drive in response to a report of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they were met with a horrific discovery: a male victim lay deceased inside the residence.

As investigators delved deeper into the circumstances surrounding the incident, it became clear that a fierce struggle had preceded the fatal stabbing. The altercation was reportedly sparked by an argument between the victim and a known individual, later identified as the victim’s own son. The son, who sustained minor injuries during the confrontation, was subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Following his release from medical care, 34-year-old Justin McGowan was taken into custody by authorities and charged with murder. He was then transported to Metro Jail, where he is currently being held. The victim, Ronald McGowan, 57, has been identified as the father of the accused.
