Late-Night Shooting at Mobile Convenience Store Under Investigation

Mobile, AL – (BuzzReport)– Authorities in Mobile are investigating a late-night shooting that occurred Thursday at the Quick Stop convenience store on South Florida Street. The incident unfolded at approximately 10:35 p.m., drawing a swift response from local law enforcement. 

Police arriving at the scene found an adult male with a gunshot wound described as non-life-threatening. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he is receiving treatment. Officers secured the area, collecting evidence and canvassing for witnesses in the immediate aftermath. 

The Quick Stop, located in a busy stretch of the neighborhood, was temporarily closed as investigators worked into the night. Nearby residents reported hearing police sirens and seeing increased patrol activity along the surrounding blocks. 

Officials confirm the case remains open, with detectives pursuing leads to determine the circumstances behind the gunfire. No arrests have been announced, and authorities have indicated that additional details will be released only as the investigation progresses.
