UPDATE ON FOLEY SHOOTING: Linda Court Shooting – Victim Stable, Suspect at Large

FOLEY, AL (BuzzReport) – Police investigators in Foley are working to piece together the events behind a shooting that rocked the quiet Linda Court neighborhood late Tuesday afternoon. Authorities have confirmed that the victim, who remains unnamed pending further investigation, has undergone surgery and is now in stable condition. 

The incident occurred shortly before 4 p.m., when the suspect arrived at the victim’s home. The individuals were known to one another, and the suspect was reportedly invited inside. Moments later, an argument erupted, escalating to violence. A firearm was drawn, and the victim was struck in the chest at close range. 

Security footage from a nearby home captured the sound of four to five gunshots around 3:45 p.m., marking the timeline investigators are now working from. While police have identified a nickname associated with the suspect, formal identification has not yet been confirmed. 

Search efforts are underway across Baldwin and Mobile counties, as well as in neighboring Escambia County, Florida. Police believe the suspect may be traveling in a particular vehicle but are withholding that detail to avoid compromising the investigation. 

Authorities stress that the shooting appears to be isolated between the two acquaintances and does not pose a broader threat to residents. For now, the focus remains on locating the suspect
