Shooting Investigation Underway on Linda Court in Foley

FOLEY, Ala. (BuzzReport)— A heavy police presence filled the 500 block of Linda Court Tuesday evening as investigators worked to gather evidence following a shooting that left one person seriously injured. 

According to authorities, officers responded to the neighborhood after receiving reports of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. Emergency medical personnel quickly transported the individual to a nearby hospital, where they remain in serious condition. 

Detectives methodically canvassed the area, speaking with residents and searching for any clues that could point to the shooter’s whereabouts. Based on the preliminary investigation, police believe this was a targeted act rather than a random attack. 

The suspected shooter is believed to have fled the area before officers arrived, prompting heightened vigilance in the community. While officials have not released a description of the suspect, they stressed that additional details will be shared as soon as they become available. . 

The Foley Police Department continues to actively pursue leads in the case.
