Violent Dispute in Mobile Leads to Arrest

MOBILE, Ala. (BuzzReport)— A heated dispute over money turned violent Friday afternoon in a quiet Mobile neighborhood, leaving one man injured and another in police custody. 

At approximately 4:17 p.m., Mobile Police officers were dispatched to the 6500 block of Shady Lane following reports of a cutting. According to authorities, they arrived to find a male victim suffering from a severe laceration. Emergency medical personnel transported the victim to a local hospital, where he is currently receiving treatment. 

Investigators determined that the injury occurred during a confrontation between the victim and a man known to him. The altercation escalated when the suspect allegedly used a sharp object to inflict the wound. 

Police identified the suspect as 62-year-old Terry Harris. Following the investigation at the scene, Harris was taken into custody without further incident and booked into Metro
