Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A routine early morning patrol in Mobile resulted in the apprehension of an individual suspected of attempting to unlawfully enter a vehicle, leading to the discovery of burglary tools and illicit narcotics. Seth Owens, 56, faces multiple charges following the incident that unfolded Sunday, November 9, 2025. Officers were canvassing the 3400 block of Medical Park Drive at approximately 8:02 a.m. when attention was drawn to a parked vehicle. A male subject was observed leaning into the vehicle’s window, an action that immediately aroused suspicion among the patrolling officers. Upon approaching the individual, later identified as Owens, police initiated an investigation. During the encounter, officers located an array of burglary tools in his possession, reinforcing suspicions of an attempted vehicle break-in. Further search also revealed a quantity of marijuana, adding another criminal offense to the situation. Owens was subsequently taken into custody on charges including Unlawful Breaking and Entering a Vehicle, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Burglary Tools. He was transported to Metro Jail, where he awaits processing and further legal proceedings.
