Charges Filed After Investigation into Misconduct Against Minor in George County

LUCEDALE, MS (BuzzReport)– The George County Criminal Investigations Division announced today the successful apprehension of two individuals following a probe into allegations of inappropriate and illegal conduct involving a minor child. The arrests come as the result of a swift investigation initiated by a crucial anonymous tip.

The investigation, launched after a concerned citizen contacted authorities regarding potential misconduct, focused specifically on the illicit taking of nude photographs of a minor child. Detectives mobilized quickly to gather evidence and identify those allegedly involved, culminating in arrests made earlier today.

Brody Parker, 22, of Lucedale, MS, was taken into custody and faces the serious charges of Voyeurism and Secretly Photographing for Lewd Purposes.

In connection with the case, authorities also arrested Shannon Havens, 32, of Perkinston, MS, who was charged with Accessory After the Fact.

Sheriff Mitchell Mixon emphasized the importance of community involvement in protecting vulnerable populations.

Parker and Havens are currently being held at the George County Regional Correctional Facility and are awaiting their initial appearance before a George County Justice Court Judge.
