Fatal Pedestrian Collision Prompts Loxley Police Investigation on Highway 59

Loxley, AL (BuzzReport) – The Loxley Police Department has launched a full investigation following a fatal pedestrian collision Monday night that claimed a man’s life on Highway 59. The incident occurred around 8:30 PM in the southbound lanes, near Baldwin Prep Academy, according to authorities.

Police confirm the victim, described as a white, middle-aged man, was walking directly in the roadway when he was struck by a motorist. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. Investigators currently believe the man may have been transient, as he carried no identification at the time of the crash.

The driver of the vehicle involved in the collision was not injured. Loxley Police are actively working to identify the deceased and ascertain the full circumstances leading to this tragic incident.
