Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A quiet Monday night was shattered for residents of the South of Dauphin Apartments when a late-night home invasion culminated in a pepper spray assault, leading to the swift arrest of a suspect. Mobile Police Department officers responded to a distress call at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Monday, August 18, 2025, directing them to 3105 Dauphin Street. Upon arrival, officers confirmed reports of an unlawful entry into a victim’s apartment. Further investigation at the scene revealed that the intruder had used pepper spray on the male resident of the apartment. Details on the victim’s condition were not immediately released, but the injuries are believed to be non-life-threatening. Utilizing quick thinking and initial information, officers rapidly identified a suspect. A short time later, 24-year-old Tamyah Henderson was located nearby the apartment complex and taken into custody without incident. Henderson was arrested and transported to Metro Jail, where she is expected to face charges related to the unlawful entry and assault. The motive behind the late-night intrusion and the relationship, if any, between Henderson and the victim remain under investigation by the Mobile Police Department.
