Baldwin County, AL (BuzzReport) – A devastating single-vehicle accident on Interstate 65 in Baldwin County, Alabama, has claimed the life of a woman from Decatur. Molly Susanne Randles tragically lost her life when the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado she was riding in veered off the road, overturned, and collided with a tree.

The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Friday, approximately 6 miles north of Bay Minette. According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the crash temporarily blocked one lane of traffic.

The driver of the truck, Rocky Ray Randles II, also from Decatur, was severely injured in the accident and airlifted to Sacred Heart Hospital in Pensacola for urgent medical attention.

Local authorities are investigating the cause of the crash. This incident marks another tragic reminder of the importance of road safety and the potentially devastating consequences of vehicle accidents.

The ALEA is leading the investigation into the crash, working to determine the factors that contributed to the vehicle’s loss of control.
