Tragic Murder-Suicide Unfolds in Daphne, Alabama; Victims Identified

Daphne, AL (BuzzReport)- A devastating incident shook the community of Daphne, Alabama, on Thursday morning, as authorities discovered a family of four dead with gunshot wounds at a home. The Baldwin County Sheriff’s Office has identified the victims as Larrica Gaines Smith, 41, Khristian Smith, 15, and Kinsley Smith, 11, and the shooter as 44-year-old Kenneth O’Neil Smith Jr.

According to Sheriff Anthony Lowery, investigators believe this to be a case of murder-suicide, citing forensic and circumstantial evidence that led to the identification of Smith Jr. as the perpetrator. A handgun recovered at the scene is believed to be the weapon used in the shooting.
