Local Man Arrested in Connection with Violent Robbery In Downtown Mobile

Mobile, AL (BuzzReport) – A violent event happened early Sunday morning in downtown Mobile, Alabama, when a brazen robbery and assault took place in the 300 block of Conti Street. According to eyewitnesses and law enforcement officials, the victim, whose identity has not been released, was approached by an unknown individual who subjected him to a vicious attack.

The victim, who sustained a laceration above his right eye, reportedly told officers that he was pistol-whipped during the altercation. Responding officers provided immediate assistance, and the victim was rushed to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

Through swift and diligent investigation, authorities were able to track down the suspect, who had allegedly stolen the victim’s vehicle. The vehicle was subsequently recovered outside of the jurisdiction, leading to the arrest of Tederick Mack Jr., 28.

Mack was taken into custody and transported to Metro Jail, where he faces charges of Robbery 1st and Assault 2nd.
