TROTWOOD, OH (BuzzReport) – As the third anniversary of her disappearance approaches, the family of Ciera Chapman remains desperate for answers regarding the whereabouts of the then-30-year-old Trotwood woman, who vanished on Christmas Day 2022. Nearly three years later, there has been no trace of Chapman, leaving her loved ones in a perpetual state of agonizing uncertainty.

Chapman was last seen in the early hours of December 25, 2022, around 4:30 AM, leaving her ex-boyfriend’s residence at Autumn Woods Apartments in Trotwood. The former couple had reportedly met to exchange personal items following their recent breakup. This departure from the apartment building marks the last confirmed sighting of Ciera.

Concern for her well-being mounted when she failed to contact her family or her 15-year-old son, prompting relatives to file a missing person report with authorities on December 29, 2022.

Initial searches proved unfruitful until January 6, 2023, when Chapman’s silver 2014 Cadillac SRX, license plate JVQ8612, was discovered in Middletown, Ohio. The discovery raised more questions than answers: all of Chapman’s personal belongings, including her purse, were found inside the vehicle, but she was nowhere to be seen. Investigators noted the unusual nature of the find, as Chapman had no known connections in the Middletown area.

At the time of her disappearance, Ciera Chapman was described as being between 5’4” and 5’5” tall, weighing approximately 123 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. Distinctive tattoos include the name “Jadden” on her neck and another tattoo on her chest. She was last observed wearing a short-sleeved yellow Tommy Hilfiger t-shirt, blue jeans, black boots, and potentially a green jacket with a fur-trimmed hood.

Nearly three years later, the silence surrounding Ciera Chapman’s disappearance remains unbroken. Her family continues to grapple with the agonizing uncertainty, holding onto hope for any information that could lead them to Ciera or to answers about what transpired that fateful Christmas morning.

Authorities continue to urge the public for assistance. Anyone with information regarding the disappearance of Ciera Chapman is asked to contact the Dayton Police Department at 937-333-1070. Every detail, no matter how small, could be crucial to resolving this enduring mystery.
