MCINTOSH, AL (BuzzReport)- In the early hours of Monday, July 21, 2025, the McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department swiftly responded to a distressing mobile home fire on Luke Rivers Rd. Emergency responders were alerted at 12:32 AM to a report of a fire alarm sounding in the area. Upon arrival, firefighters were met with a large mobile home engulfed in heavy fire and thick smoke. The McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department was aided in the response by several assisting agencies, including the Tibbie Volunteer Fire Department, Wagarville VFD, Charity Chapel VFD, the American Red Cross, and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO). Details on the cause of the fire and the extent of damages or injuries are not immediately available. The McIntosh Volunteer Fire Department and assisting agencies worked diligently to control and extinguish the blaze.
