Fire in Stockton Claims Life of One Male Resident

Stockton, Alabama (BuzzReport) – A tragic incident unfolded in the early hours of Sunday morning in Stockton, Alabama, when a fire broke out at a residence on Bryant’s Landing Road in the Upper Bryant area. Fire officials responding to the scene discovered one deceased male inside the house.

According to Chief Hall of the Stockton fire officials, several crews were quickly dispatched to the location after reports of a fully involved fire came in shortly after 2 a.m. Sunday morning. Upon arrival and after working to extinguish the flames, crews found one male victim deceased inside the house.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Fire Marshall. At this time, there is no clear indication of what led to the blaze.

Chief Hall confirmed that no other victims were found at the scene, and the house has been deemed a total loss following the incident.

Assisting agencies during the response included the Perdido Volunteer Fire Department and the Rabun Volunteer Fire Department.

The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
